character information
Name: Tsubaki Aoganei
Age: 25
Species: Raen Au Ra
Canon: Final Fantasy XIV
Canon point: Endwalker Patch 6.3

Abilities: Tsubaki is what they call the Warrior of Light, Hydaelyn’s chosen. As such, she has been granted the gift of the Echo. The Echo has various uses and depends on the user. Tsubaki’s Echo allows her to see into people’s pasts on occasion. This can sometimes be a handy tool, but it was not initially something that could be controlled or used at will. Over time, she learns to control it a little better without repercussions, but it is still uncontrollable when it happens. One setback to note about the Echo (in Tsubaki's case) is that, on occasion, it would knock her unconscious for a short time. No two manifestations of the Echo are alike, according to Krile. For example, Krile’s abilities lie in conversing with beings of every shape and size (aside from beasts). She is also sensitive to the whispers of the soul and their essence. Tsubaki’s Echo also allows her to be immune to primal's influence to temper those around them and brainwash them to serve that respective prima. This makes her an ideal match to take them on, while others are at a much higher risk of being tempered.

Otherwise, Tsubaki uses a fighting style called the Kriegstanz, an ancient Radz-at-Han war dance that is performed to ease the suffering of others. Once a part of the Troupe Falsiam for several years, she danced with them for a number of years before striking it out on her own. She uses long ranged weapons called chakrams. Through the Kriegstanz dance, she is able to dispel an ominous-looking dance of dark aether called the Totentanz, otherwise known as the dance of the damned. It is an aetheric manifestation that feeds off of anger and fear in people's hearts. It affects the host, the land, and others around them. If not handled properly, it can often lead to their demise. It is the Troupe's mission to free those afflicted by the Totentanz and ease the burden in their hearts.

She is also able to teleport, but only thanks to attuning to the aetherytes for fast travel. This is a skill that won't be useful in Fable without them. Typically, she would be able to use a variety of jobs through soul crystals, but those are things that I can work on recovering in time. Aside from battle, Tsubaki enjoys weaving new outfits when she has the time to and is reasonably skilled at the craft.

History: God help you all. Here's a summary I found that covers up until Endwalker. Since this covers up to Shadowbringers, here's a wiki specifically for Endwalker.

I have started to write up a history section in a separate google doc over time, but I have done my best to summarize the more important parts of the story and Tsubaki as much as possible. However, this has only gotten up to the start of the patches of Shadowbringers, so anything extra may be missing certain parts that I haven't been able to review properly. Because I did find a wiki for Endwalker that seems to cover most of it, I will only be including things that are significant to Tsubaki.

To keep this app from not getting too long, I put together a separate google doc to try to cut this down as much as possible.

Personality: As a teenager, Tsubaki grew up sheltered and had been expressly told not to leave too far from home. As a result, she had always been an antsy child. Tsubaki yearned to learn more about the world and open her eyes to what was beyond their domain. That led to insatiable curiosity, and every moment she was denied the chance to explore that curiosity, the worse it got. It was that sheltered life that led her to caused her to make the mistake that would change her life forever. She had lost her parents. She could hardly handle the stigma and the dirty stares from the others, prompting her to leave Sui-no-Sato for good. She struggled for a long time to figure out just what she wanted to do with her life. Happening upon Troupe Falsiam gave her a purpose, but even with a newfound goal to work towards, Tsubaki finds it hard to simply forget the past and to let it go.

Once people began to call her a hero and treat her as such, the label only caused her grief. She felt that she was no hero and did not deserve such praise after what she had done as a teenager. Still, the pressure to not let anybody down got to her, pushing her to take on the role of the Warrior of Light. She became afraid to let people down. She could not lose more people around her due to her stupid choices. As Tsubaki’s deeds became more well-known, so too did her responsibilities. It was a common theme for people to idolize her to be this great savior. Many of them often put her on a pedestal. There were often times when she felt like she shouldn’t be celebrated as a hero; Times when she wished that she wasn’t the Warrior of Light. Even in times of uncertainty, she didn't have it in her to throw in the towel and abandon the title. If nothing else, her resolve has grown over time, as well as her constant mental fatigue. With her fear of letting people down and possibly costing lives, she became something of a workaholic.

Arrival item: Aside from the clothes on her back and what she's wearing at the time of arriving at Fable, I would like to bring her chakrams and Dancer Soul Crystal in. She probably won't need them here, but you never know.
life in fable
Game plans: She will have no clear plans, but finally having a break will be much appreciated. She is so used to running ragged as the Warrior of Light that she hardly gets to rest and relax. There are a lot of things she'll want to try and explore while she's here, so that will be her main priority here, aside from helping Prism out however she can.
Fruit trees: Orange
Any final thoughts?
